BioHOME - Sustaining Life

Our planet has recently reached the population mark of six billion humans. We are continually discovering new ways to increase comfortable living ... This has ended up making us work harder. Advances in technology, engineering and agriculture have supported this movement toward mass production & excessive living. Meanwhile, the crowded streets keep filling up with more mouths to feed and more pollution. Instead of creating freedom, we have limited ourselves. Now we experience shortages of energy, resources and time.

Humans may be at the top of the food chain ... yet neither plague, famine, or war have had an impact on our numbers. Six billion may seem like a long time coming. However, it's been an exponential increase over the years. Once again, we are being required to use our intuition to make good with what we have. Once the basics are covered, then free will has the opportunity to foster new ideas.
Enter BioHome. We have used intuition & imagination in harmony with mother nature & space-age technology to design the ultimate in self-sustaining homes. BioHome orchestrates several simple systems to sustain life for as long as necessary. All humans have basic needs: water, food, air and shelter. BioHome has been developed to bring all of this together in a closed system, independent of a crumbling society or fractured ecosystem.

Water, Air, Food and Shelter ... All in ONE!

Water flows freely all around us and through us all the time. The atmosphere itself is a self balancing water system. The Airwell Solar distillation system works to tap into this endless water source (as well as purify/recycle your home's gray water). Airwell boasts the purest water on earth, free of contaminants and disease. To read more about the Airwell systems, or to purchase the Airwell Survival Kit 10.0, click here!

We often take the air we breathe for granted. It may seem like it's always there, but we can't go for more a few minutes without a breath. A sealed environment has to consider this. One set of human lungs needs 250 cu. ft. of plant life or 1 quart of algae to produce enough oxygen to survive. BioHome is built with this in mind. A green room - built on the sunny side of the house - only requires plants, sunshine, glass, and dirt. Now we have a constant supply of oxygen and food. Balancing LIFE between plants & humans is a key ingredient to closed-system housing.

The BioHome itself houses all this, and YOU too! Its construct consists of a steel geodesic dome framework and sealed in polyurethane foam. This structure can withstand most disasters, natural or manmade.

The home is built with hybrid energy suppliers. Both solar and wind power deep cell batteries. The batteries in turn can run an entire home for several days without solar or wind power input. The BioHome is designed to use far less electricity than a normal home, and eliminates all external utility sources.

Just think: Freedom, granted to you by technology ... courtesy of your own HOME. Check out more information on the one HOME that will change the way we think about LIVING. Read on about the individual components of the BioHome in our technical guide page or go back to the top.
